What do you think are the biggest problems in student writing?
- The writers do not know what to write about a given topic. As a result, they either write about things unrelated or repeat the same thing again and again just to increase word count.

Does my child need writing tutoring?
Read something your child wrote recently and ask yourself questions such as "Do I understand its point?", "Is the writing well organized?", "Is the writing convincing and effective?", and "Is it free of grammar mistakes?" If your answer is No, your child needs help.

After receiving your free trial request or payment, we create your account with the email address from you and send you the link to your account. You can reset the default login password. You use your email address and password to log in to see the assignments and daily instructions, do your daily writing tasks, submit your final sentences or paragraphs, and view our corrections and feedback. We also send you a reminder email every day with the link to your daily tasks.
What is the purpose of your Write a Paragraph a Week program?
Your child is ultimately expected in school to write good essays. An essay is composed of paragraphs. Each paragraph is a mini-essay in structure. So to write a good essay, your child needs to write good paragraphs. The Write a Paragraph a Week program enables your child to improve his or her essay-writing skills in a quick and effective way.
What is the purpose of your Write a Sentence a Day program?
To write an essay well, your child needs to write paragraphs well. To write a paragraph well, your child needs to write sentences well because a paragraph is a group of sentences. With our Write a Sentence a Day program, your child will improve his or her sentence-writing skills with each passing day.
Which program should I choose for my child?
If your child still struggles with grammar, you should choose the Write a Sentence a Day program.
If your child is OK on grammar but cannot effectively form a paragraph with sentences, you should choose the Write a Paragraph a Week program.
What will my child write about in your Write a Paragraph a Week program?
In our Write a Paragraph a Week program, your child has the same types of writing as in his or her school, such as description, narration, opinion, explanation, cause and effect, comparison and contrast, process, classification, definition, summary, data interpretation, response to literature, literature review, and literary analysis. All the writing assignments are about things they are familiar with and interested in, such as popular games and YouTube videos.
Can my child write the weekly paragraph all on a single day?
Of course. Though we break a writing assignment into managerable daily tasks on purpose and send out the instructions every day, if your child prefers to complete it on a single day instead of over a week, that is fine. After all, our goal is to encourage your child to write a paragraph a week.
What are the family dinner table conversation topics?
To write good paragraphs and eventually good essays, your child needs to develop not only writing skills, but also good observation, interpretation, and argumentation. The family dinner table is a good place to help your child develop these skills. From time to time, we will send you topics that you can discuss with your child at your dinner table. In the long run, this practice will help your child plan, organize, and present ideas effectively when he or she writes. Note that these topics are only available to our paying users.
Can my child have a free trial?
Yes. Let us know which program your child wants to try out. We will send you the words, topic, and instructions for one week. We will also correct your child's sentences or paragraph. However, we will not send you our family dinner table conversation topics. Note that we reserve the right to turn down some requests to keep our free trial program from being abused.
What is your privacy policy?
The information you provide us through the use of our service, such as your name and email address, will be kept private. We will never disclose it to third parties. We may share your child's writing as writing samples with our existing or potential users or for the promotion of our service. When we do this, we will make it anonymous. Also, our website does not collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent.
If I purchase your programs, do I have to provide you with my credit card and contact information?
No. You purchase our programs through PayPal.
Can I get a refund?
Only if your child has not started your purchased program. In this case, you should immediately contact us via the Contact Form before the coming Monday after your purchase when we send out weekly assignments to our users. If you have already received our weekly assignment(s), you will not be eligible to receive a refund. Please note that we do not offer partial refunds.
How long can I keep my account after I stop using your programs?
Six months from the last day of your use of our programs.
Who are the people behind this website?
We are a dedicated group of people who strive to help elementary, middle school, and high school students write better English. We are professionally educated in English writing and highly experienced in writing and tutoring.
Why don’t you provide more information about yourselves?
We do not put up a detailed introduction about ourselves on purpose. Despite our related education background and work experience, we do not want you to judge the quality of our programs based on us. We want you to make your own judgment.
